Welcome! I’m James, the founder of C2K Foods. My journey into food science started with a passion for cooking, microbiology, and a desire to teach. With a background in biomedical engineering, a love for DIY science, and years of cooking, I set out to build a company that reflects my passion.
C2K Foods was born out of a desire to merge traditional kitchen cooking with simple edible experiments. From the beginning, my goal has been to provide ingredients that make kitchen science more accessible. Whether it's a bread kit to learn about yeast, gels to do kitchen electrophoresis, or real cabbage pH indicators, everything we create is designed for hands-on learning in the kitchen.
Having worked in both kitchens and as a community college laboratory technician, I realized there was a gap and an opportunity for everyone to learn in the kitchen.
At the heart of everything I do is a passion for discovery and creation. Whether it’s designing new recipes, experimenting in the kitchen, or playing with my food, I thrive on the challenge of solving problems and building things that matter. I believe that true innovation happens when science meets hands-on expertise, and that philosophy is what shapes every product we offer.
